How do I know if I need a seat?
If you are using Cxddie to do work for an organization, or to produce work you are paid for, you need a seat. Hobby, study, teaching, research at an educational institution and unpaid open source are free.
Does Cxddie lock anything without a license?
No. Every feature works on every plan. Unlicensed work use only shows a reminder in the sidebar. We rely on you to buy seats honestly.
Can my team share seats?
No — a seat belongs to one named person, who may use it on up to 3 of their own machines. When someone leaves, you can reassign their seat.
How do I enter my key?
On first launch, choose Work. Later, click the license badge at the bottom of the sidebar and paste your seat key. Keys are checked daily and stay valid for 14 days offline.
Are agents and CAD tools included?
Cxddie drives the agent CLIs and CAD tools you install. FreeCAD, Blender, OpenSCAD, CadQuery and build123d are free; Fusion, Rhino, Revit, SketchUp, SolidWorks and AutoCAD need their own licenses from their vendors. Agents use your own subscription or API key with their provider.
