CadQuery
OCCT-backed B-rep modelling in Python, run through uv.
Kind: Code CAD · Document: model.py · Install: brew install uv · winget install astral-sh.uv · Override: CXDDIE_UV
Cxddie runs model.py with uv run and bridges/codecad/cxddie_runner.py. The first session downloads CadQuery; there's nothing else to install.
What agents get
run_code replaces model.py with a complete CadQuery script and runs it (empty string: re-run the file on disk). print() output is returned with the rendered size, volume and bounding box; exceptions come back as tool errors with a traceback.
The geometry is whatever is passed to show_object(...), else a variable named result, else the last CadQuery shape assigned at top level.
Units are millimetres, Z up. export supports STEP as well as STL / OBJ / GLB.
import cadquery as cq
result = (
cq.Workplane("XY").box(40, 20, 10)
.edges("|Z").fillet(2)
.faces(">Z").workplane().hole(5)
)
