Projects
A project is just a git repo.
Click Add project and pick a folder. It can be an existing git repo or an empty folder — Cxddie runs git init -b main when needed.
When a project is added, Cxddie:
- adds
.cxddie/to the repo's ignore rules (exports and session state live there), - configures git-lfs for binary CAD files (
.FCStd,.blend) ifgit lfsis installed, - ignores CAD backup files such as
*.FCBakand*.blend1.
A project isn't tied to one CAD system. Each workspace picks its own, so one repo can hold a FreeCAD part, a Blender render scene and a build123d enclosure side by side.
